The American Foxy Dane is a designer hybrid that was created in the 1980s. The FCI classifies the American Foxy as a cross between the Giant Schnauzer and the Welsh Corgi.
American Foxy Dane Physical Characteristics
The American Foxy Dan is an American Molosser and Great Dane hybrid. It is a large, medium-to-large sized, muscular, strong, athletic, and agile breed that comes in solid fawn, brindle, harlequin, white, or black. They are well built and with great endurance. Their head is somewhat rounded and their muzzle is large, and goes for the length of their skull. Their lips are thick, and their nose is broad, and their nostrils are deep. Their teeth meet in a scissor bite. Their ears are long and pendant, and hang down. Their neck is very strong, and goes in a slight arch, and their forequarters are straight and muscular. Their hindquarters are powerful, and their tail is set high. Their dewclaws are usually removed. They have webbed feet, and their eyes are hazel in color.

American Foxy Dane Activity Requirements
American Foxy Danes are a cross between a Great Dane and a Boston Terrier. They have the amiability of a Boston Terrier and the large size and soulful personality of a Great Dane. Despite their cute size, American Foxy Danes are still a very active dog. They require about an hour of daily exercise and, while they tend to do well in apartments, they need a home with plenty of space to roam. If you are looking for a big, friendly, and fun-loving companion, an American Foxy Dane might be the right dog for you. They are loving and devoted and love to cuddle. They need regular exercise and a warm lap, and they don’t require a lot of grooming.
