The Blue Picardy Spaniel is a small-medium sized breed of hunting gun dogs. It has a long, flat, silky, blue-gray coat and comes in two varieties, rough and wire-haired. They are energetic, friendly, and extremely social. Puppies have large, round heads and large, compelling eyes, which mature into more oval-shaped heads. Their ears are long and erect, and their tails are docked to about 2 inches. Their bodies are muscular and strong.
