The Blue-Tzu Heeler is a cross between the Japanese Chin and the Shih Tzu. It is a small, compact, and muscular dog. The origin of the name “Blue-Tzu” is not known, but the name “Heeler” comes from the term “heeler”, which means “to catch”. The hybrid, or Designer, Breed known as the “Blue-Tzu” was originated with the intention of creating a smaller version of the Shikoku.

They are intelligent, faithful, and have a strong work ethic.
