Box-a-Pug History

The Box-a-Pug is a fairly new hybrid, or designer, breed of small dog that was created in 2012. The Box-a-Pug is a cross between the Pug and the Bichon Frise, two very popular small breeds. The Box-a-Pug is a hybrid, or designer, breed of small dog that was created in 2012. The ancestors of the Boxer and Pug can be traced back to the early 1500s and 800s to Asia respectively. The Bichon Frise is a newer hybrid, or designer, breed of small dog that was created in 1971. The Bichon Frise is a cross between the Water Spaniel, the now-extinct Barbet, and the now-extinct Maltese. The Box-a-Pug is relatively new and has not yet been officially recognized by the major kennel clubs. The owners of the parent breeds of the Box-a-Pug claim that the breed is a naturally occurring mixed-breed, which is technically true. However, it is common practice for owners of non-purebred dogs to claim that their dogs are the result of naturally occurring breeding. In fact, it is not uncommon for there to be some degree of natural or accidental cross-breeding between any two purebred dog breeds. It is also fairly common for breeders to produce puppies that are the result of a deliberately planned breeding program that might be intended to create a new breed.
