The Box-a-Shar is a unique, recently-developed hybrid, or “designer”, breed of foxhound created in the 1990s by crossing a Basenji, a houndsman’s friend and African pied beauty, with a Standard Schnauzer, a large, wirehaired and long haired hound. Box-a-Shar Physical Characteristics
