Dog Breed Profile

Boxerman History

The Boxerman is a Belgian breed of dog that was created in 2001 by crossing the Boxer with the American Pit Bull Terrier. The Boxer is a type of medium-sized, short-haired, scenthound that was originally developed in Germany. The American Pit Bull Terrier is a medium-to-large sized, short-coated, terrier that was originally derived from crosses between the now-extinct English Bull and Bulldog and the English White Terrier. The Boxerman is a fairly new breed of small-sized, mixed-breed dog that originated in Europe in the early 2000s when breeders began to intentionally create these mixed-breed dogs by combining the established traits of two very popular European breeds. The Boxer is a type of medium-sized, short-haired, scenthound that was originally developed in Germany. The Pit is a type of medium-sized, short-to-medium-length, low-to-medium energy, intelligent, athletic, and fearless working dog that originally evolved in North America from crosses between various bulldogs and terriers.

Boxerman Activity Requirements

Boxermen are a combination of two of the most popular breeds, the Boxer and the Doberman Pinscher. These high-energy companions are well-known for their loyalty, affection, and intelligence. Boxermen are very active, both mentally and physically. They require regular exercise and engagement in order to be happy. A daily walk or jog will help keep these dogs both physically and mentally fit. If you are looking for a dog that will play ball with you, go for a hike with you, and snuggle up on the couch with you, consider getting a Boxerman. These fun, athletic dogs are great for people who enjoy an active lifestyle.
