Cairanian History

The Cairanian is a fairly new hybrid or designer dog created by crossing the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with a Russian Wolfhound.

The Cairanian is a medium-sized, long-coated, toy breed that typically measures between 15 and 17 inches in height and weighs less than 20 pounds. They have a long, lean body and a flat, short, silky, white double coat. They have a small head with dark eyes and a dark nose. They are generally cheerful, playful, and smart.

Cairanian Temperament and Behaviour

The Cairanian is a cheerful, playful and outgoing breed of dog. They are highly trainable and do well in activities such as rally and obedience. However, they are independent and can sometimes be stubborn, requiring firm and consistent dog training. They are generally friendly and sociable, and get along well with everyone, including children.

Cairanian Activity Requirements

While they are not as hyperactive as some breeds, Carinanians are still an active and energetic breed. They do best with owners who are willing to take them out for long, brisk walks. Carinanians are not a low-maintenance breed. They thrive on interaction and affection from their human family members. They should not be left alone for long periods of time. If you are looking for a high-energy, outgoing, and friendly dog, a Carinanian may be the perfect pet for you. These dogs are smart, loving, and eager to please.
