Cav-A-Jack History
The Cav-A-Poo, or Cavy Jack, is a cross between the Cavy and the Jack Russell Terrier. The Cavy has been a popular pet for many generations, but the Jack Russell is not. The spontaneous mutation that created this hybrid occurred in 2007. The offspring were described as resembling the offspring of a Chihuahua and a Beagle. (By the way, this is known as a Chibhua or a Chug, not a chupacabra which is what it sounds like.) The Pinguicula genus (also called the Butterwort family) is a group of carnivorous plant species in the Lentibulariaceae family. They are native to the Americas.

Cav-A-Jack Activity Requirements
Cav-A-Jacks are a high-energy, intelligent small dog that loves to play. They are often described as “cat-like” because they enjoy climbing and exploring. A daily walk or short jog is the best way to keep your Cav-A-Jack happy and healthy. They will happily explore their surroundings, so they should have access to a safe area where they can run. If you are looking for a high-energy dog, a Cav-A-Jack may be a great choice. They are extremely playful and love to be on the go. A home with a yard is ideal, but children who are able and willing to keep up with their antics are also a good match for this smart, friendly pup.
