Chussel Temperament and Behaviour

The Chussel is a lively, playful and energetic breed of dog. They are brave, fearless, and protective of their family and property, but are also gentle and affectionate. They are very intelligent, fast learners, and learn best through positive and praise-based methods. They enjoy sports, such as agility and flyball, and make great hunting dogs and watchdogs.

Chussel Activity Requirements

The Chussel is a high-energy, intelligent dog that was originally bred as a herding dog. Today, they make great companions and compete in obedience, agility, and herding. These dogs are happiest when they have a job to do. They need lots of exercise and mental stimulation in order to be happy. A fenced yard where they can run around and explore is ideal, but a short daily walk and afternoon play time will also keep them happy. A Chussel may be a great fit for an active family or a family with older children. They love spending time with people and participating in family activities. They are not a good choice for families with small children who may not understand the rules of interacting with a dog.
