Dachsi Apso History
The Dachshund is a medium-sized, short-legged, long-bodied, hound-type scent hound that originated in Germany. The name “Dachshund” is the German term for “badger-dog”. The Dachshund is one of the smallest of the scent hounds, differing from the other hounds in having its hindquarters longer than its forequarters. The legs are set well apart and the body is slightly arched. The head is elongated with a fox-like muzzle, a long nose, and erect, triangular ears. The tail is carried low and is customarily docked. The coat is smooth and short, and comes in many colors. The Dachshund has been used to hunt badgers and rabbits. It is used for tracking, but is now primarily used for companionship and as a watchdog.

Dachsi Apso Activity Requirements
The Dachsie Apso is a small, sturdy, and weather-resistant dog. They are easy to train and very loyal to their owners. They are intelligent and full of personality. Because they are a fairly small, short-coated dog, they don’t require a lot of outdoor exercise, but they do require regular exercise. Daily walks or playing with the kids in the backyard is a good way to keep your Doxie Apso happy. A Doxie Apso does not need a ton of physical exercise, but they do need regular attention. If you are looking for a lapdog, you may want to look at a different breed. However, if you are looking for a companion that is smart, loyal, and protective, a Dachsie Apso may be perfect for you.
