Dameranian Temperament and Behaviour

The Dameranian is a playful, friendly and sweet-natured little dog. They are fun-loving, happy-go-lucky and sociable. They are curious and attentive. They enjoy interacting with people, but may be shy with strangers. They get along well with children, but aren’t as tolerant with younger children.

Dameranian Activity Requirements

The Dachshund is a friendly, compact dog who is great with children. They are lively, playful, and energetic, making them a great companion for an active family. While they do love to play, Dachshunds also like to relax. They generally do very well in homes with other dogs and with people who are typically gone from the house during the day. A daily walk or short training session will satisfy their need for activity. If you are looking for a pet with a lot of energy, the Dachshund may not be the right fit. They do not need hours of exercise and prefer to be with people.
