Doberman Collie History
The Doberman X Collie is a mixed-breed hybrid. It is the result of a breeding between a female Labrador Retriever and a male Doberman Pinscher. It is a cross between a purebred Labrador Retriever and a purebred Doberman Pinscher. The mix can be referred to as either a “Doberman Collie” or a “Labrador Dobe”.

Doberman Collie Temperament and Behaviour
The Doberman Collie is a highly intelligent, loving, and loyal dog. They get along well with children and other family pets, and are sensitive and protective towards their human families. They are highly trainable, which make them suitable for use as a police, guide, and search and rescue dog. They are playful and energetic, but also relaxed and calm.
Doberman Collie Activity Requirements
Doberman dogs are medium to large, muscular, and powerful. They were originally bred as guard and protection dogs and today they are still used for many security jobs. They are loyal, intelligent, and known for being brave and alert. While they are best suited to an active household, Dobermans are also patient, gentle, and eager to please. They are a good choice for families that are looking for a medium-sized, intelligent dog. If you are looking for a walking companion, a Doberman may not be the best choice for you. While they are more tolerant of smaller children than other large breeds, they are not well-suited to long hikes or runs. They do, however, love to play and will enjoy games like fetch.
