English King Temperament and Behaviour
The English King is an active, calm, and good-natured dog that enjoys spending time with its family. They are gentle and polite with strangers, and do well with people of all ages. English Kings tend to be either more playful or lazy, and are very devoted to their owners.
English King Activity Requirements
English Kings are known for being calm, friendly, and intelligent. While they are not one of the more active breeds, they do benefit from a daily walk. While an English King may be content to spend much of the day stretched out on the sofa, they do need regular exercise. A daily walk around the neighborhood will keep your dog happy, healthy, and fit. Most English Kings do well in homes with yards, but they can also live in apartments. They do best in homes that are relatively quiet and calm. If you are looking for a laid-back companion that enjoys spending the day relaxing with you, an English King might be the right dog for you.
