The Foxingese is a fairly new hybrid, or designer, dog breed that was created by crossing an American English Coonhound with a Pomeranian. They have a thick, curly, and wavy fur that is blue-gray in color with white and orange markings. They have a flat face and tiny ears. The Fox’s eyes are normally hazel or light brown in color and they have a small, round nose. They are sweet-tempered, playful, and energetic.

It is friendly and outgoing, making it an excellent pet. Foxingese do require a moderate amount of exercise and they do best in a home with an active family. A daily walk or run is a great way to keep your Foxingese happy and healthy. They also benefit from some play time, whether it’s a game of fetch or playing with a chew toy. A home without a yard is not ideal for a Foxingese. They do need a safe place to run and burn off some of that energy. If you live in an apartment, be sure the apartment complex has a fenced-in area.
