Foxton History
The Foxton is a herding dog that originated in Finland. The Finnish word foxta translates to “fox”, so it is assumed that these dogs were used to drive foxes out of their dens and into traps. Today, the Foxton is used as a working farm and livestock guardian dog in Finland. They are also used as guard dogs and family pets.

The Foxton is a playful, playful, and equally loving and protective breed of dog. They are sociable, outgoing, and devoted to their owners. They are extremely intelligent and have a strong desire to please. They are quick to learn and very effective at learning new tricks.
Foxton Activity Requirements
Foxtons are small, sturdy, and compact. They are well-balanced dogs and are well suited for both urban and country living. While they are not very active, they do require regular exercise. A daily walk or short play session is enough to keep your Foxton happy. They will enjoy exploring the neighborhood, but they are just as happy with a few laps around the backyard. While this is an ideal breed for apartment dwellers, they do need regular interaction with people and other dogs. While they don’t need lots of outside time, they do need some time to play and run around.
