French Bull Jack History
The French Bull Jack is a fairly new hybrid, or designer, breed of dog that was developed by crossing the Bulldog and the Jack Russell Terrier. The name is a reference to the jack (French) and the bulldog (English) genes. The hybrid French Bull Jack was created by combining genes from two well-known, but very different, dog breeds. The ancestors of the Bulldog, which is believed to have originated in the British Isles, date back to around the year 3000 BC. The ancestor of today’s modern English Bulldogs, which is believed to have originated in France, dates back to around the year 1200. The ancestors of the modern American and English Coonhounds, which is believed to have originated in Wales, date back to around 2,000 years ago. The hybrid French Bull Jack was created by combining genes from two well-known, but very different, dog breeds. The ancestors of the Jack Russell Terrier, which is thought to have descended from terriers that were originally used to hunt and kill vermin, are believed to date back to before the year 600 AD.

French Bull Jack Activity Requirements
The French Bull Jack is a relatively new designer dog that was created to have a gentle, calm temperament and big, floppy ears. They are sometimes referred to as a “designer clown” or “small Frenchie.” While the French Bull Jack is not as demanding of an exercise regimen as some other breeds, they do need regular walks or outdoor play. They are a high-energy, playful breed and they need an outlet for their energy. A daily walk or play session is a good way to keep your French Bull Jack healthy and well-adjusted. This breed is smart and eager to please, so they do well with training. They are also very loyal and devoted to their families.
