The Germanee is an unusual hybrid, or designer, breed of dog, developed by crossing the German Shepherd with the Irish Setter. The unusual name of the Germanee comes from the merging of the words “German” and “Irish”, two nationalities that are often associated with the dog.

The Germaneese is a medium-size breed of dogs that most commonly stands at 23-27 inches in height at the shoulders and can weigh between 55 and 75 pounds in weight. This breed has a double coat of fur, with a dense undercoat and shorter, wiry topcoat. The ears of this breed are triangular in shape and drop slightly, while the tail is curled. The eyes of Germaneese are large and almond-shaped, and their nose is of the same color as their eyes. This breed is alert and is very intelligent. They are eager to please their masters.
