The Golden Pei is a hybrid, or designer, breed of small pet dog. It is the result of breeding a Pekingese with a Pug. The Miniature Golden Pin (MGP) is a medium-sized, low- to non-shedding, well-proportioned, “designer” or hybrid, toy/puppy. It was originally developed by crossing the Chinese Crested with a Pug to create a smaller variation of the American Pit Bull Terrier, but is now recognized as its own separate breed.
