Griffichon History
The Griffy Inu, or Griffon Bruxellois, is a working and herding dog from Belgium. The Griffy was originally developed by crossing the Petit Brabancon, a now-extinct French herding, cattle, and sheepdog, with the Bearded Collie. In 1921, the breeder Léon Ruffieux, president of the Belgian Kennel Club, created the studbook for the Griffon Bruxellois. The breed was recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC) in 1946. The Griffon is a medium-sized working and herding dog from Belgium. The Griffon was bred by crossing a now-extinct French herding, cattle, and sheepdog, with the Bearded Collie. The breed is now extinct in Belgium but still exists in other countries. The AKC recognized the Griffon in 1946.

The Griffichon is a small, medium sized dogs that stand between 9 and 11 inches at the shoulder and weigh between 6 and 15 pounds. They have an elongated, elegant, rounded body and large, round ears. They have a short, thick, glossy, chocolate, tan, or blue-black colored coat. They have a pointed nose, dark eyes, and a thick, bushy tail. They are intelligent, playful, and confident.

The Griffichon is an energetic, athletic, and devoted breed. They are brave, playful, and energetic. They enjoy running, jumping, and fetching. They get along well with children and other small animals. They are generally quiet and only bark when necessary.
Griffichon Activity Requirements
German Shorthaired Pointers, commonly referred to as Pointers or GSP, are a medium-sized, athletic dog. They are muscular and have short, dense coats. Pointers are an energetic and active breed. While they don’t need hours of activity every day, they do benefit from regular walks or jogs. Pointers are a popular hunting and competition dog. They excel at activities such as tracking, agility, and flyball. Their intense need to work makes Pointer a great candidate for these activities.
