The Griffon Bleu de Gascogne is a small, stocky, long-coated, hunting breed that typically stands between 15 and 17 inches tall at the shoulder and weighs between 45 and 60 pounds. They have a compact, muscular body and a flat skull. The Griffon Bleu de Gascogne has a blue-gray or reddish-brown, wiry coat and a black mask. They have an alert, friendly personality and they are naturally protective.
