The origin of the name “Hava-apo” comes from the words “hava”, which means “a handful” and “apso”, which is Greek for “pointed” or “sharp”. The Hava-Apso, also known as the Havanese-Australian Silky Terrier, is a very intelligent and devoted family member. The temperament of the Hava-Apso is sweet-tempered, lively, friendly, and loyal. The conformation of the Apso is cobby, with an alert and confident expression and intelligent eyes. The coat of the Apso is of moderate length, silky and straight. The coat colours are black, brown, blue, cream, coal, grey, red, brindle, and merle.
