Havamalt Activity Requirements
Havamalts are small, scent hounds that were developed in Germany. They are high-energy, intelligent, and loyal. Most Havamalts will require a lot of exercise and mental stimulation. They will thrive in a home where they are given lots of love and attention, along with plenty of physical and mental stimulus. They are best suited to families that spend a lot of time outdoors. While Havamalts do require a great deal of exercise, they are generally happy to cuddle up with their families at the end of the day. These dogs are smart and eager to please, and they will do well with owners who are committed to giving them the time and attention they deserve.
