The Hush Basset is a quiet, good-natured, laid-back, and easygoing breed of dog. They are very intelligent, easy to train, and excel at many canine sports. They are very gentle and devoted to their family, but can be stand-offish with strangers.
Hush Basset Activity Requirements
The Hush Basset Hound is a slow, calm dog, known for their sweet nature and laid-back attitude. They do require a lot of grooming, but other than that they are fairly easy to care for. Because they aren’t very high-energy, they don’t require much exercise. A daily walk or a brief play session in the yard will be sufficient for most Hush Basset. If you are looking for a calm, sweet companion, the Hush Basset may be the right dog for you.
