These dogs are loyal, intelligent, and very devoted. While the Irish Wolfhound is a large, strong breed, they are not very active. They do not need a lot of exercise and should be kept in cool climates. If they get too hot, they will quickly overheat. Irish Wolfhounds are good family dogs and do well with children. They generally get along with other dogs, but they can be aggressive towards strange animals. They do not require much exercise and do not need a fenced yard.
