Italian Cavalier Greyhound Activity Requirements
The Italian Greyhound is a small, athletic, and agile hound dog that is native to Italy. This elegant, slender, and graceful hound is the national dog of Italy and is a descendant of the ancient Egyptian sighthounds. While they are not as high energy as other breeds, Italian Greyhounds do require regular exercise. They will benefit from a daily walk or jog. In fact, they are known to enjoy running. Italian Greyhounds are also known for their intelligence. They will need something to do, either indoors or out. A puzzle toy or a game of hide and seek can keep them busy. These dogs are best suited to homes with yards where they can run around. If you live in an apartment, you will need to provide your Italian Greyhound with plenty of exercise and stimulation.
