Italian Greyhuahua History
The Italian Greyhuahua is a toy-sized breed of domesticated dog that, as its name implies, originated in Italy. It is sometimes referred to as the “Italian Silky Terrier”, although the only terrier in its ancestry is the silky. The Kennel Club of Italy (KC) recognized the “Grey Huahua” as a native Italian variety in 1992. Furthermore, the KC decided to group it with all the other kinds of “Greydogs”, including the “American Grey”, the “Argentine Blue”, and the “Mexican Grey”. The “Chiaroscuro”, as it is known in Italian, is a non-sporting variety.
