Jug Temperament and Behaviour

The Jug is a playful and mischievous breed of dog. They are very intelligent and can often outsmart their owner. They are full of energy and are very playful, especially with children. They are fairly independent, but are also very sociable and love being around their owners.

Jug Activity Requirements

The Jug is a sighthound, meaning they are bred to hunt by sight rather than scent. Unlike some hunting breeds, however, most Jugs aren’t as high energy as you might expect. They enjoy a nice walk on leash and spending time with their family, but they don’t need a ton of vigorous activity. If you are looking for a dog who is happy relaxing on the couch or playing with a toy, the Jug is an ideal choice. They are not a high-energy, high-drive dog, but they will still enjoy a nice walk and some playtime.
