Labrasenji History
The Labrasenji, also known as the Labradoodle or Labra-chan, is a mixed-breed dog that was created in Australia in the 1990s by breeding a Labrador Retriever with a Standard Poodle. The origin of the name “Labrachen” is unclear. One theory is that it is derived from the aboriginal word “labrah”, which means “to splash in water”. Another potential origin is “Labrador”, as “labrad” means “muddy water” in some aboriginal languages.

Labrasenji Activity Requirements
Labrador Retrievers are a much-loved and widely-distributed breed of dog. They are intelligent, friendly, and hardworking. Most Labs are well-suited to a wide variety of activities and can excel at everything from hunting to playing Frisbee. Most Labs will need at least an hour of activity each day. This can be split up into several smaller sessions or done all at once. While they can live in a wide variety of homes, most Labs are happiest when they have a yard in which to run and play. They are also an active, high-energy breed and really need to be given outlets for their energy. A daily walk or jog is a nice way for a Labrador to burn off some of their excess energy. This can also help them maintain a healthy weight. However, since they love to play, it is important to make sure you provide them with toys, games, and activities that help them work off some of their enthusiasm.
