Meagle Activity Requirements
Originally bred as an all-purpose hunting dog, the English Pointer is an energetic, happy-go-lucky dog that enjoys exercise and attention. English Pointers require plenty of exercise and will be happy with a couple of walks or runs each day. They enjoy both indoor and outdoor activity and make great running and hiking partners. English Pointers are usually friendly with other dogs, but some can be aggressive towards strange animals. If an English Pointer is raised with cats, they can be good housemates, but it’s best to introduce them slowly and supervise their interactions.
