The Miniature Schnauzer is a small, long-haired breed of dog that is between 10 and 15 inches at the withers and between 10 and 15 pounds in weight. They have a distinct beard and mustache and come in a variety of solid and brindle colors and markings. They have a straight, bushy, and slicked-back appearance. Their nose and ears are medium in length and their muzzle is chiseled and pointed. The Miniature Schnauzer is a friendly and determined breed.

The Mini Chi is a cross between a Chihuahua and a Toy Fox Terrier. These dogs are small, compact, and spunky. They are intelligent and do well with training, making them an excellent choice for first time dog owners. While Mini Chis are not an especially high-energy dog, they do require a moderate amount of exercise and attention. A short walk or the occasional play session should keep them happy.
