The Mini Scottish Fox Terrier is a toy-sized terrier developed in Scotland. The Miniature Fox Terrier, which resulted from crosses between the working foxhounds and the old Scotch types of terrier, was recognized by the Kennel Club of England in 1886. In 1903, a litter of puppies was presented to the Kennel Club by Mrs. C.W. Brown, which was the first record of the use of the “Miniature” term.
