Miniature Golden Retriever Temperament and Behaviour

The Miniature Golden is an enthusiastic, happy, and loyal companion that is fun-loving and eager to please. They are eager and willing to play and be active, but they are also calm, gentle, and good-natured. They get along well with children, other dogs, and small animals.

Miniature Golden Retriever Activity Requirements

Miniature Goldens are a miniaturized version of the standard Golden. They are generally friendly, playful, and outgoing. While they do require regular exercise, they are not as high-energy as some other breeds. A daily walk or short run is usually sufficient. However, they do enjoy some games of fetch or tug-o-war. While they are more active than some other small breeds, they do not require as much exercise. A home with an adequately-sized backyard, or a nearby park, can usually meet a Mini’s physical and social needs.
