Ori Pei History
The Ori-Pei is a medium-sized Chinese Spitz/Poodle hybrid. The origin of the name is from the word “O” (which means “king” in Chinese) and “pei” (which means “hairy”). The coat of the Ori pei is similar to that of the Pekingese, but it has a thick undercoat that gives it a wooly texture. The origin of this mixed-breed puppy is unknown; it is thought to have originated in China. The breed name “Ori pei” means “King Hair” in Mandarin.
Ori Pei Physical Characteristics
The Oci-Pei is a medium-large sized breed of dog of the spitz type. They were developed to be large dogs, weighing 50 to 80 kg (110 to 180 lb). The breed is relatively new, so there are no definite standards. The weight range of 50 to 80 kilograms, however, is generally accepted. They are muscular, powerful and agile. These athletic and hardy dogs originate from the FCI Group 7, Section 1, and were admitted to the American Kennel Club in 2006. The name Oci-Pei is French, meaning “peek-a-boo”.

Ori Pei Temperament and Behaviour
The Ori Pei is an energetic, fun loving, and curious breed. They are playful and enjoy spending time with their families. They are protective of their family members and make great guard dogs and watchdogs. They are smart and willing to please, but they are also independent thinkers. It is important to be consistent with their training.
Ori Pei Activity Requirements
The Ori Pei is a relatively new, rare, and mixed-breed dog. They are a mix of Pekingese, Bichon Frise, and Lhasa Apso, among others. This mix makes Ori Pei dogs a sensitive, intelligent, and active breed. They require regular exercise, both physical and mental. If you are thinking about bringing an Ori Pei into your life, make sure you have the time, energy, and space to provide the right amount of exercise and care. These dogs require a lot of time and attention, but they make wonderful companions and family members.
