Patterdale Terrier Activity Requirements

Patterdale Terriers are small, friendly terriers that were originally bred to hunt badgers and otters. They are known for being smart, loyal, and fearless. While some small breeds do require less exercise, the Patterdale Terrier still needs a daily walk or jog. If you live in an apartment, you may be able to find an enclosed area where you can safely let your Patterdale run around. If not, they are well suited to living in homes with yards. In addition to their daily walks, your Patterdale may also enjoy playing ball or other games of catch. While they don’t need a ton of exercise, they do get bored easily, so it’s best to keep them busy.
