Pomchi Temperament and Behaviour

The Pomchi is a loving, playful, and energetic breed of dog. They are often very vocal and have been known to bark at people and animals that pass by their yard. They are extremely social, and will form very strong bonds with their owners. They get along well with other dogs and cats, but may fight with small animals.

Pomchi Activity Requirements

The Pug-Chihuahua hybrid, known as a Pug-Chi or “Pomchi,” is a relatively new designer dog. They were first bred in the 1990s, but have gained in popularity in recent years. The small size of the Pomchi makes them a good choice for apartment living. While the breed is more active than many small breeds, their short legs prevent them from doing too much running or jumping. They do, however, love a good game of fetch or a walk. The small size of the Pomchi means they don’t require as much activity as larger breeds, but they do need regular exercise. A daily walk or game will keep them healthy and happy.
