The Posavac Hound is a rare sighthound that originated in Croatia. This fearless hound has a strong hunting instinct and can be used for tracking, trailing, and treeing. While they are not as high energy as some other breeds, the Posavac Hound still needs plenty of exercise and stimulation. They prefer to be kept active and entertained, so they are not a good fit for passive owners. If you are looking for a low-key, low-energy dog, a Posavac Hound may not be the best fit for you.
