Powderpap History
The Powderpuff is a cross between the Shih Tzu and the Yorkshire Terrier, and is a fairly new mix. The Yorkshire Terrier is a toy terrier that was bred for ratting. The Yorkie is believed to have originated in the late 1700s or very early 1800s in Yorkshire, England. The Shih Tzu is a Chinese breed of small dog known for its curly coat. The Shih Tzu is descended from the Lhasa Apso, which is originally from Tibet. The ancestors of the Tibetan dogs were brought to China by Buddhist pilgrims in the 9th century. The Powderpuff is new to the show ring, and has not yet been recognized by the AKC. The Powderpuff is a lively, playful, compact little dog with an appealing, inquisitive face.

Powderpap Activity Requirements
The Powderpuff is a relatively new breed of dog that was developed by crossing a Pug and a Bichon Frise. They are small, playful, friendly, and generally healthy. While they are not very active, they are not completely sedentary, either. They do require regular walks and some play time each day. A daily walk or short play period will keep your Powderpuff happy, healthy, and out of trouble. If you don’t feel you have the time to walk or play with your Powderpuff, consider another breed who won’t mind staying home alone during the day.
