The Rampur Greyhound is a muscular and athletic breed of dog that originated in India. The Rampur Greyhound is a medium-sized sighthound that was originally developed in India. Rampur Greyhounds are a sighthound that is closely related to the Whippet. These sweet, gentle dogs were historically used to hunt hares and other small game. They are still used as hunting dogs and compete in lure coursing. Rampur Greyhounds are not as high energy as other hounds, but they do require a fair amount of exercise and mental stimulation. They are best suited to a home with a fenced yard where they can run around. While they do require a lot of socialization, they are generally a quiet, calm dog. They can be fairly independent and don’t require much human attention. They do well living in an apartment, as long as they have a safe place to play outside.
