Redbone Coonoodle History
The Redbone Coonhound is a mixed-breed dog that is the result of a cross between the Redbone Coonhound and the Poodle. The name “Redbone” comes from the dark red coat color of these dogs. The origin of the Redbone Coonhound is unknown, but it probably descends from crosses between the American and English Foxhounds and the red-coated English Bulldog. The cross between the Foxhound and the English Bulldog led to the development of the Bluetick Hound, which is an American hound that traces its ancestry to English Bulldogs.

Redbone Coonoodle Activity Requirements
Redbone Coonoodles are a cross between a red poodle and a mini-golden doodle. They are known for being smart, cheerful, and devoted. While they are not as high energy as some other breeds, they still benefit from regular exercise. A daily walk or some light playtime will keep your Redbone Coonoodle happy and healthy. Because they are a hybrid, they are usually healthier than purebreds. If you are considering a Redbone Coonoodle, be sure to do your research. This is a relatively new crossbreed and not all breeders will have had much experience working with them. Be sure to choose a breeder carefully and be prepared for the possibility that your puppy may have health issues.
