Rottsky Activity Requirements
The Rottweiler is a large, muscular dog that is known for its strength and intelligence. They are often found working as police dogs and search and rescue volunteers. Most Rottweilers will need at least one hour of activity each day. This can be broken into several smaller sessions throughout the day or a longer, more intense play session. While they do not require a lot of running, they are very active and will benefit from having plenty of space to romp and play. If you are looking for a good jogging partner, a Rottweiler is probably not the right fit. While they can be trusted off-leash, they are not typically friendly toward other dogs and should be kept away from off-leash dog parks.
