Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka Activity Requirements
Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonkas are a relatively rare, very old herding dog from Russia. Their name means “furry circle”, and this shaggy, medium-sized dog carries that name with pride. They are strong, agile, and intelligent, making them an excellent working animal as well as a wonderful pet. Unfortunately, the Tsvetnaya Bolonka is extremely rare outside of Russia, so they are rarely found in American animal shelters. They are still occasionally being imported from Russia, but in most cases, if you are considering a Tsvetnaya Bolonka, you will have to seek out a breeder. This is a rare, beautiful, and intelligent dog that still has plenty of room to grow in popularity. If you are interested in a Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka, be sure to check with your local shelter first. Even if they don’t have any, they might be able to help put you in touch with a breeder.
