They are loyal and intelligent, and make great companions. While Saint Usuge Spaniels don’t require a lot of vigorous activity, they do need to have an outlet for their energy. They are a high-energy dog who will follow their noses wherever they lead them. If you are looking for a highly active, athletic dog, a Saint Usuge Spaniel may not be the breed for you. However, if you are looking for a loyal, intelligent, and playful companion, this is a great choice.
