Scottish-Skye Terrier History
The Scottish-Skye Terrier is a medium-sized, robust, hardy working terrier of strong character and good presence. The coat is medium length, heavy and harsh with shaggy texture – profuse on the neck and shoulder areas, more neatly coated on the chest, back, sides and legs. The head is moderately fine, with a moderate stop. The eyes are dark and round. The ears are V-shaped, moderately long, broad at the base and pendant. The legs are muscular and straight. The tail is naturally short, carried low and is set on high. The feet are hard and compact, with hare-like pads.
