Sheltie Pug History

The Sheltie Pug is a crossbreed between a Shetland sheepdog and a pug. The Sheltie Pug is a mix between two different sized and shaped dogs. The smaller size of the Shetland Sheepdog gives the crossbreed a more petite look than the larger size of the pug. Sheltie Pug Temperament and Behaviour

The Sheltie Pug is a loving and devoted companion, and is great with families. They are very smart and can learn quickly, but they can also be stubborn at times. Sheltie Pug Activity Requirements

The Sheltie Pug is a cross between a Shetland Sheepdog and a pug. While these crossbreeds are generally healthy, they can face some genetic health problems when both parents carry the gene for a disease. A Sheltie Pug requires moderate exercise and will need a daily walk or outdoor play time. While they enjoy running and playing, they may also appreciate some curling up on your lap. While a Sheltie Pug doesn’t require a great deal of exercise and can adapt to living in an apartment, they thrive when they are included in family activities. They tend to be friendly and playful, but they also have a stubborn streak. They can be difficult to housebreak and are prone to barking.
