Shi-Beagle Temperament and Behaviour

The Shi-Beagle is an energetic, loving, and intelligent dog that makes a great pet for an active owner. They are prone to barking, and this trait is heightened if they are left alone for long periods of time. They require regular daily exercise, but can easily adapt to living indoors. They are a high-energy, high-maintenance breed.

Shi-Beagle Activity Requirements

The Shi-Beagle is a crossbreed between a Shiba Inu and a Beagle. They are a small but sturdy dog that makes a loyal companion. They are intelligent and curious, making them easy to train. Despite their size, they have a lot of energy and require a lot of physical and mental stimulation. Shi-Beagles do best in homes where they have plenty of room for exercise and where they can maintain a healthy amount of independence. They are not a “couch potato” type of dog. They need both mental and physical stimulation in order to be happy. If you are thinking of getting a Shi-Beagle, make sure you are prepared to provide them with plenty of attention and activity. This is not a low-maintenance breed, but they are generally eager to please and do well with training.
