The Shiranian is a medium-sized dog that was originally bred to work alongside shepherds. Their thick coats and loose skin make them well-suited to colder climates. While they are not the most energetic of breeds, they do require a fair amount of exercise. A daily walk or run will keep them healthy and happy. If you live in a cold climate, the Shiranian is a good choice. Their dense coat and protective undercoat keep them warm in cold weather.
