The Scottish West Highland White Terrier is a lively, spirited, and inquisitive breed of dog. They are generally friendly and get along well with children, other pets, and strangers. West Highland White Terrier Activity Requirements

Westies, as they are affectionately known, are an energetic, playful, and active small terrier. They are curious and clever, and enjoy playing games. While they don’t require a lot of vigorous physical exercise, they do require frequent activity. A brisk daily walk (or two) is the best way to keep your dog healthy and fit. A backup plan is a good idea in case your daily walks are cancelled. Westies are a highly intelligent and athletic breed. They need attention and affection, and do better when they are able to live with a canine companion. If you are looking to add a Westie to your family, be sure you have plenty of time to spend playing and interacting with your dog.
