The White Swiss Shepherd is a medium-sized, large-size, or giant-sized, herding or working breed of dog. The standard size range for the breed is 24 to 27 inches at the withers for males and 22 to 26 inches for females. They usually weigh between 65 and 100 lb (29 and 45 kg). The weight range of the giant size is 28 to 32 inches at the withers for males and 25 to 31 inches for females. They usually weigh between 100 and 130 lb (45 and 59 kg). The dogs have a double-layer, water-resistant, medium-length, white or cream colored, curly or corded hair coat. Their coat may be longer and denser on the head, ears, legs, and tail. They have leathery, dark brown or hazel-colored, almond-shaped eyes. They have a wide, deep, and powerful muzzle and their lips are usually curled over. The nose and cheeks are colored light brown. They have two pendant-shaped, erect, and triangular ears. Their neck is long, strong, and muscular. Their shoulders are long and sloping. Their forelegs are straight.
