Yoranian Temperament and Behaviour

The Yoranian is a happy, playful, and devoted companion who forms a close bond with the members of his family. They are very good with kids and get along well with other household members, but they can be shy with strangers. The Yoranian can be somewhat independent as they have a tendency to be stubborn, but they can also be easily trained. They are generally well-behaved and polite, but they can be aggressive when provoked.

Yoranian Activity Requirements

Yoranians are a high-energy herding dog that was developed by crossing two Australian Shepherds. They are intelligent, loyal, and protective, making them great farm dogs and guardians. While they don’t require as much physical exercise as some other breeds, Yoranians do require regular exercise. They will need a daily walk, as well as time to play and exercise with toys. If you have a farm or a big backyard, a Yoranian will be a great companion for you. They are extremely active and will quickly learn new behaviors. They are also very protective of their families and will guard their home if they see something suspicious.
