Azores

Dog breeds from the Azores are a group of rare and ancient breeds that are native to the islands of the Azores in the Atlantic Ocean. These breeds include the Terceirense, a medium-sized, white sheepdog; the Fila de Sao Miguel, a large, white guard dog with a black muzzle; and the Cão de Fila da Terceira, a black and white sheepdog. These breeds are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and strong work ethic, and they are often used for herding livestock and hunting on the islands of the Azores.
